Healy Henderson

Violinist and educator, Healy Henderson, has called San Diego home for more than a quarter of a century. Having grown up on the West Coast, she was destined to return after finishing her schooling in Indiana, Baltimore, and Moscow. After completing her master’s degree from The Peabody Conservatory of John’s Hopkins Univeristy, Ms. Henderson began playing with the San Diego Symphony and Opera. She serves as Concertmaster of the Classics Philharmonic and Classics 4 kids, an organization’s mission she is very passionate about. In addition to her Symphonic work, she has premiered and performed for many productions at The Old Globe, La Jolla Playhouse and Broadway San Diego as solo violinist, fiddler. Having suffered a tragic accident leaving her visually disabled, Ms. Henderson has expanded her teaching studio to be

inclusive to students challenged by differences.
