But each year, students are accepted who can’t attend—simply because they can’t afford it.
This evening is about changing that.
Right now, students have been accepted to SDSMI but can’t attend without financial support. Your ticket helps fund scholarships for students in need.

An evening of music, community, and impact supporting scholarships for young musicians to attend the San Diego Summer Music Institute.
5:30 p.m. – Reception & Check-In
Enjoy light refreshments and live music from SDSMI students as guests arrive and mingle.
6:00 p.m. – Musical Opening
Featured performances by SDSMI alumni and student musicians.
6:15 p.m. – Welcome & Program Begins
James Sepulvado shares the mission of SDSMI and how scholarships help young musicians attend camp.
6:30 p.m. – Student Stories & Performances
Hear directly from SDSMI students and alumni, interwoven with live musical performances.
6:45 p.m. – Scholarship Fund Appeal
Join us in helping more students attend SDSMI through community giving and matching donations.
7:00 p.m. – Featured Performance: Presidio Winds
A special performance by San Diego Winds’ professional ensemble.
7:15–7:30 p.m. – Reception Continues
