For Families Attending the San Diego Summer Music Institute
Families of students attending the San Diego Summer Music Institute are invited to reserve limited on-campus beachfront housing and optional experience packages designed to provide comfort, proximity, and meaningful access to the artistic life of the camp.
All offerings are optional and intended to support families while maintaining the educational focus of the program.

On-Campus Beachfront Housing
Families may reserve fully prepared campus apartments located within walking distance of all student activities.
Each apartment includes:

Two bedrooms and two bathrooms

Full kitchen, living room, and balcony
-
Linens, towels, and basic toiletries provided

Quiet, campus-based setting near rehearsal and performance spaces
Campus housing offers families peace of mind, convenience, and proximity throughout the camp week.
Recommended Package: Campus + Artistic Access
Most families choose the Campus + Artistic Access Package, which includes housing plus priority access to the full artistic life of the camp.
This package includes:

VIP access to the San Diego Winds professional concert

VIP seating for the military band concert

Priority access to chamber concerts throughout the week
This option is designed for families who wish to engage deeply with the musical and educational environment surrounding their student’s experience.

Enhancements are optional and may be selected during registration.
Campus Policies
Point Loma Nazarene University is a dry campus. Alcohol is not permitted anywhere on campus, including within campus housing apartments.
Families staying in on-campus housing are expected to follow all university policies during their stay. We appreciate your cooperation in helping maintain a respectful, educational environment for all participants.
